Pollo Tropical is based out of Miami FL and specializes in cuisine of the Caribbean. Larry & Stuart Harris founded the resturant back in 1988 and there are now over 120 Pollo Tropicals in the state of Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. They try to create a happy, healthy, laid-back fun atmosphere made for the family. If you are visitng a Pollo Tropical soon we recommend the Grilled Chicken with Black Beans and Rice. Other popular menu items includes the BBQ Pork Sandwich, Waffle Fries, Carribbean BBQ Ribs and Guava Cheesecake. Pollo Tropical also holds the Guiness Wolrd Record for the largest serving of salsa during a 2012 Superbowl pregame party. The salsa checked in at over 2000 pounds!
